The modified cellulose developed by the company can carry metal ions and has high antiviral, antibacterial, and deodorizing properties of metal ions. When evaluating its antiviral performance through the JIS antiviral test, it was found that the virus infection rate (PFU) of two viruses (with and without a membrane) on a blank paper decreased by 99.9% after 2 hours. The test results for printed products with a printing area ratio of 50% are also the same.
